The centerpiece bowls, all ready to go. We had to soak the aqua pearls for over 24 hours to make sure they were fully filled before we used them in arrangements.

Some of the finished centerpieces. They were simple and lovely. 20+ carnations are used in each arrangement. Sparkly gems and a touch of silver glitter were also added for something extra special.

Isn't this a beautiful cake? The individual hydrangea flowers on it are so cute, almost like little polka dots! Flowers used are hydrangea, button mums and spray roses.

The short centerpiece all greened up. The greens used were seeded euc and leather leaf.

The tall centerpiece greened up with a few flowers. These will eventually have stones and LED lights in the bottom. They'll be VERY cool.

This is the cute little box lid for the gerbera daisies. I just love the little pictures and had to share!

These are proconas. They allow for some fresh flowers to be delivered in water. They increase the cost of the flowers because they are a lot more difficult to ship. But for weddings and special events, it's worth the extra cost!

I forget the name of this rose. It's very similar to a Marlyse, but better. They are HUGE!!!

This is our new, lovely large arch overlooking Lake Michigan in Milwaukee. It was very windy, but the arch stayed stable thanks to a few of our tricks.

The boutonnieres that basically everyone wore except the groom. They were very classic looking. Sophie roses make great boutonnieres because they don't open too fast and fall apart.

This was the grooms boutonniere. It was a Vendela rose with a stephanotis. The little pods are seeded euc.

The corsage that most of the ladies wore. It was made with spray roses.

The bride's beautiful bouquet of Vendela roses and stephanotis. It was very clean and classic.

Once all of the flowers are out of the boxes and cut, we drop them into the treated water. Different flowers need different food/water temperature combination's to make them open perfectly.

The Sophie (Pink) roses open so perfectly that even we have to stop and stare. These roses have not yet been cleaned up and still have their 'packing petals.'

Wedding In Progress

Most flowers show up in boxes like these. In these boxes contain enough flowers for an entire wedding. They are shipped in from all over the world. For this wedding, the majority of the flowers were grown in South America.

This box contained a bunch of hydrangea. They are packed very tight for shipping to prevent bruising. Once they drink some water they look a lot better!

These are Vendela roses. They will make up the bride's bouquet. Twenty five roses are bound together in this little package!

This package is Sophie roses. They look very pretty when they open.

This pinecone taper candle holder was another one of our finds at the Chicago Gift Show. It's a very cool piece that can be worked into a lot of different decor styles. We also liked it because it could be used late fall through the entire winter.

Today we headed down to the Chicago Gift show. It was a marathon of shopping! We found a lot of wonderful fall, Christmas and everyday items. We'll post a few of the pictures here as a sneak preview! The above picture is of our new line of pashmina scarves. The quality and the price can't be beat! We got in 20+ colors and prints and we're excited about everyone one! We expect them in by the end of August.

This bubble bowl arrangement features blue hydrangea, white asiatic lilies, blue delphinium and green spider mums. A few green dendrobium blooms float in the water for an added tropical touch.

This bouquet features red and peach roses, mango mini callas, pin cushion protea and green cymbidium orchids. Equisetum, or horse tail is added to mimic bamboo and give the bouquet an eastern flair.

Mixed Cube Vase

This simple, adorable cube vase would be lovely in the home on a coffee table, dinner table or just about anywhere! It includes many long lasting flowers, including white stock, hot pink carnations, green mums and waxflower. With regular water changes, it could last a week or more!

Sheltered Bouquet

This sheltered bouquet features red roses, hot pink roses, soft pink roses, miniature calla lilies and variegated ti leaves. The entire bouquet is sheltered with flexi-grass. It is fairly traditional bouquet, but the addition of the grass sheltering the flowers gives it modern flair.

Mini-Bouquet

This simple bouquet is made of white 'Eskimo' roses, babies breath and lemon leaf. It is perfect for smaller, more informal weddings. It could also be used as a prom bouquet or as a mother's bouquet.

Water Garden

This modern arrangement can but sent for many occasions, including funerals, birthdays, congratulations and to corporate settings. It is a water garden inspired piece, with the flowers springing out of 'lily pads,' leaving some water exposed around the base of the arrangement. The arrangement includes white gladiolas, purple carnations, purple statice, blue iris, purple larkspur and lavender daises. It is also accented with apple green bullion wire for a more modern feel.

Garden of Angels

This funeral piece places a lovely keepsake angel in a garden of fresh flowers. After the funeral services, the angel can be easily removed and cherished for years to come. The flowers included in the arrangement are pink gladiolas, roses, yellow solidago, pink roses and pink matsamoto asters. A few branches are also added for additional height.

Wheel Barrow Peace Lily

This arrangement is a Peace Lily, or Spathiphyllum. Peace lilies are easy to care for house plants that make very popular gifts. This peace lily was put in a rustic wheelbarrow with a few silk gerbera daisies and some redwood branches.

Welcome to the Roseanne's Floral Daily Blog. We're going to be posting lots of pictures of the shop in action, including a daily picture of one of our beautiful arrangements. We'd also love for you to participate with any questions you have about the shop, the flowers or flower arranging!

The above image is one of our favorite Bride's Bouquets. It includes pink and peach roses, pink and white peonies and blush pink astilbe. The astilbe was a last minute addition that we feel really made the bouquets. It just happened to be at the peak of beauty that week and we just couldn't pass it up!
